WELCOME to IECEP (KSA, Central Region Chapter)

MeetingIECEP-KSA-CRC is a duly accredited IECEP foreign-based chapter affiliated with the Institute of Electronics and Communications Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. It is a non-stock and non-profit organization.

The institute is founded by professional engineers that share the same vision and mission of the Institute that it represents. It is a showcase of dedicated individuals engaged in Saudi Arabia's various industries in telecommunications, electronics, military and defense, automation, control sector, etc.

A BRIEF HISTORY:

On Feb. 13, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Dunkin's café, Al Aqaria Building, Olaya, a group of ECE engineers from different companies discussed and agreed together the formal creation of IECEP-Central Region Chapter that will embody the common goals and aspirations of each Electronics & Communication Engineer in the region.

On Feb 17, 2010 around 5:00 PM at the same venue above, the group had a meeting again with other attendees and bylaws has been discussed plus a working committee had been set up to work on IECEP formation.

Another meeting was held on Thurs Feb. 25, 2010 5:00 PM at Elite International School. The attendees elected the board of directors from among themselves and in accordance to IECEP national bylaws of setting up a foreign chapter.

From then on, the officers regularly meets every Tuesday to work out for the projects of the organization and its affiliation to IECEP national, Philippines Professional Organization, and the Philippines Embassy in Riyadh.

On March 27, 2010, the Board Of Directors of the Institute Of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) on its 3rd Board Meeting held in TIP, Quezon City, unanimously passed and approved IECEP Resolution No. 2010-006, granting the creation of IECEP-KSA-Central Region Chapter.

On April 14, 2010, the IECEP-KSA-CRC received from the IECEP National the Certificate of Affiliation with Accreditation Number 25 from the Institute Main Office at Citiland Towers, Shaw Blvd. Mandaluyong City, Manila.

On May 15, 2010, we are registered and recognized by the Philippines Embassy and Philippines Professional Organization in Riyadh and therefore listed on community organizations of the Embassy as legitimate Filipino association.

IECEP-KSA-Central Region Chapter is now taking off in different projects and community services to strengthen the ECE professionals, associates, and practitioners in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.
